October 2016 IPMS Ottawa Contest

These are the entries to the IPMS Ottawa, October 2016, monthly contest.

1st Place Winner -Nazi German U-47 Type VII U-Boot with scratch built interior. Battle of the Atlantic. Revell 1:100 scale.

Second Place Winner - P-47D flown by Lt Kibble, 56th GS, 61st FS, Halesworth UK, March 1944. OOB Academy 1:48 scale.

Third Place Winner - RCAF CP-122 P2V Neptune ASW maritime patrol aircraft. OOB Hasegawa 1:72 scale.

Morris Mini - splendour in the grass. Tamiya, 1:24 scale.

IJN mini-submarine as used in Pearl Harbour, 1941. added brass wire and chain and rigging. Finemolds, 1:72 scale.

GAZ-67B with towed ZIS-3 artillery, and Miniart Red Army crew. AER (Moldova) and Italeria, 1:35 scale.

Renault ambulance captured from France and used by Nazi Germany in 1944. White circles are painted. Number 39 in a series of military ambulances by the builder. Ace Models, 1:72 scale.

Container Ship "Cartier". Used IPMS decals instead of kit stickers. ZT Models (China) unknown scale.

Zeon Scout sci-fi hovercraft in Israeli colours. Custom rebuild with PE parts and new gun and wiring. Gundam, 1:35 scale.

Japanese Type 97 tank. Battle of Iwo Jima. OOB Tamiya 1:35 scale.

Heinkel HE-277. aircraft. This is the old Airfix 1:72 scale kit with Toad Resin parts.

ME-109G flown by Franz Stiglers. Note the yellow 2 made from a six. Academy 1:48scale.
